Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects has announced 47 finalists across 12 categories in this year’s national architecture awards programme.

This year’s jury will be convened by Nelson-based architect Andrew Irving, of Irving Smith Architects. Andrew will be joined by Mel Bright of Studio Bright, Melbourne; Ana O’Connell, Lovell & O’Connell Architects, Wellington; and Craig Moller of Moller Architects, Auckland. The judging panel will visit all shortlisted projects in person between Monday 29 August and Thursday 8 September. 

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 18 November 2022 at the Christchurch Town Hall. See all the finalists in the gallery above.
