Context Architects has appointed two new associates to its South Island studio and two to its North Island studio. The firm hopes that Natalie Snowden, Shirley Chin, Heather Blewett and James Valentine will help them continue to create innovative solutions and projects for the New Zealand built environment.

In Auckland, Natalie Snowden brings strong client relationships to the fore and champions customer experience with bold design, and Shirley Chin has over 25 years of experience creating thought-provoking designs in the retail and commercial sectors.

In Christchurch, Heather Blewett is a member of the Christchurch Urban Design Panel and brings along with her experience in large-scale residential and mixed-use projects in both New Zealand and the UK. James Valentine has over 20 years experience and he will help Context work to push the boundaries of residential development in New Zealand.

Context Architects’ managing principal Stephen Voyle says, “The promotions reflect our growth and maturation into an 80-strong architecture practice. These individuals are a vital touch point for our clients and an invaluable resource to the teams they lead. We’re thrilled to recognise the achievements of our new associates and advance them into key leadership roles across the country.”
