Limited-edition designer flute giveaway

Urbis has a pair of the black, individually blown glass flutes, each valued at $300, as well as a bottle of Deutz Marlborough Prestige Cuvée 2008, to give away.

Internationally renowned glass-blowing artists, Luke Jacomb and partner Kate Rutecki of Lukeke (Urbis’s Best Craft Artists 2010), have created a collection of limited-edition glass flutes with Deutz Marlborough Cuvée as their muse. In briefing the designers, Deutz – who make the only New Zealand méthode traditionnelle under direct licence from a French champagne house – invited Jacomb and Rutecki to Marlborough, where the connections of craft-making in both wine and glass became obvious.
