With Urbis Designday® 2011 successfully wrapped up, the showrooms, sponsors and creative collaborators met up to celebrate a fantastic event and find out who took away the People’s Choice for Best Installation and the HP Future Designer winner.
Held at the Mini Garage on Ponsonby Rd in Auckland, Jessica Rangi from HP announced the winner of the HP Future Designer award as going to Jonathan Sothern, Ejiwa Ebenebe, Tiana McKenzie, and Antony Carter who created ‘Cookies and Scream’, a Halloween-inspired animation.
Nicole Stock, the editor of Urbis, then revealed the People’s Choice winner, done by text vote on the day, as Kohler working with fashion label Salasai.
The outstanding ‘Cookies and Scream’ animation from Jonathan Sothern, Ejiwa Ebenebe, Tiana McKenzie, Antony Carter was voted the winner.
