Resilience in Urban Design

 

The fourth International Urban Design Conference will look at how we can create resilient cities by discussing issues such as density, flexibility, and diversity in building types, and public spaces. Community engagement, protection and enhancement of natural and urban resources while managing the climatic impact and population growth will also be discussed.

Keynote speakers at the conference will be sustainable building advocate Roger Bayley, strategic advisor Sue Holliday, architect Paul Pholeros, Arup’s David Singleton, urban policy director Sara Stace, urban planner Deborah Dearing, architect David Marks and urban designer Tim Williams.
