Christchurch’s Chinese lantern festival 2012
Christchurch’s Chinese lantern festival invites families to come and enjoy new beginnings in the Year of the Dragon and picnic on the grass at Hagley Park’s Carlton Corner amidst hundreds of beautiful lanterns specially imported from China. Delicious Asian food stalls and non-stop entertainment including a dragon and lion dance group from Shanghai, a reggae band Chinese-style from Beijing and an opera and modern dance group from Taizhou.
