Destroyed Word is a film, in which ten giant letters across are constructed across ten nations, each built from a product economically vital to the country in which it was made. Each letter was then spectacularly annihilated and recorded on film. United as a video installation, the ten films spell a word referencing the demise of the global economy.

Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts is the second in the world and the only New Zealand venue for Destroyed Word on its international tour.

This is part of the Auckland Arts Festival 2013. For more information on the festival, click here.
