This comprehensive offering presents a predominantly international selection; objects from early 1950s’ utilitarian designers sit alongside organic Scandinavian and American design. It also includes rare antipodean design classics from New Zealand and Australia.

The objects on offer will be vintage, with the historical patina and original wear remaining faithfully intact. The objects illustrate concepts of modernism propelled by new technology, changing lifestyles and designs that defined a new era.

Mr Bigglesworthy’s Emma Eagle looks at mid century modern designs in the latest issue of Urbis #66, here.
