CoreNet NZ in Wellington presents a talk on change management and lessons learnt from activity based working on Monday 29 August.

Two guest speakers will talk about their recent experience and lessons learnt from ASB North Wharf and 33 Bowen Street (MOE).

Rod Aitken
Head of Workplace Design and Delivery, ASB Property

Rod Aitken joined ASB Bank Limited in 2009 as client project director for the ASB North Wharf project. In this capacity Rod was responsible for ensuring all aspects of the project design and delivery met ASB’s requirements. Rod’s particular focus was driving the fitout design to ensure Activity Based Working principles were tailored to meet ASB’s business requirements. Rod currently manages the Corporate Office portfolio at ASB, including moving ASB corporate offices into next generation agile workspaces.

Zoe Griffiths
Deputy Secretary People, Capability and Resources, Ministry of Education

Zoe joined the Ministry of Education as the director of the Secretary’s Office on 1 June 2014 and was appointed deputy secretary of the new People, Capability and Resources Group in February 2015.

Zoe is responsible for the Ministry’s organisational capability ensuring the critical people, processes, systems and infrastructure is in place. The functions within this group include: IT, Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, and Business Services (including Business Continuity and Privacy and Security). Zoe is also responsible for Corporate Property and was sponsor of the project responsible for the fitout at 33 Bowen Street.
