Katrina Lobley was born near two of Queensland’s Big Things (Big Cow and Big Pineapple) and moved to Australia’s biggest city – Sydney – in 1997. She worked at The Sydney Morning Herald before throwing it all in to globetrot as a freelance travel and arts writer. Her favourite places include New Orleans, Portland and Montreal – but most of all she likes coming home to her house and dog.
