Partner Content: Modern, clean lines define the Calibre range, the latest from Gerard Roofs. This new range challenges norms for roofing and delivers an innovative steel roofing panel with an elegant, contemporary feel. The challenge lay in creating a modern panel which not only looked great when installed but didn’t sacrifice on strength or durability.

To achieve the strength and quality required for the Calibre range, each panel is crafted with a core layer of .55 steel, positioned between corrosion resistant layers of zinc-aluminium alloy. The panel is then treated to a series of protective layers providing added durability and colour protection. This system allows for the panel to retain its shape and integrity, while still being lightweight and manoeuvrable for installation. Its compact design makes for simple transportation; the average Calibre roof can be delivered to site stacked on just two or three pallets.

Calibre features Gerard’s Concealed Fastening (CF) technology. Providing the ultimate in weather performance and style. Interlocking panels ensure the fasteners are completely invisible and protected from the elements, for a sleeker, more streamlined appearance. This interlocking system provides strength and robustness to the roof, ensuring product longevity.

Aesthetics were a key consideration when designing the range. Not only did the product need to give the architect the flexibility to achieve their creative vision but it also needed to have a minimalist visual appeal. Able to be installed on a wide variety of configurations, even on low inclined roofs (from 15°), the Calibre range shines through its versatility. Furthermore, with no need to flash from roof penetrations to the ridge, you can enjoy uninterrupted clean lines across the entire roof space. To complete the Calibre look, a huge range of matching accessories are available.

Knowledge applied from our vast experience combined with a rigorous testing and development process means customers can have complete confidence in Calibre for their next project.
