Goldsworthy has added some new designs to its portfolio. The Ballet collection, available at Backhouse, includes four pieces – two chairs and two tables – made from laminated ash (and, in the case of the chairs, upholstered in 100 per cent wool, which comes in 60 different colours). The tables, with their cinched middles, echo the waistline of a ballerina. In contrast, the Monarch high table, another new addition, is angular and streamlined and comes in extruded aluminium and wood veneer, compact laminate or solid wood.
