Architect Matt Glubb is set to take on the role of CEO at Jasmax, bringing with him experience cultivated over a 25-year career in the industry, marked by the design of a number of significant projects, including the Auckland City Rail Link, the national Fale Malae and the New Zealand Pavilion at Expo 2020.

Throughout his tenure at Jasmax, Glubb has held various leadership positions, playing a key role in shaping the practice’s design philosophy and driving its growth.

Jasmax has selected Glubb as CEO in recognition of his role in advancing design excellence, fostering bicultural practice and championing environmental leadership over the past five years.

Karen Price, Chair of the Jasmax Board, expressed the practice’s endorsement of Glubb’s appointment as CEO, saying, “We are pleased to endorse Matt as our new CEO. His leadership skills, strategic insight and industry knowledge make him the ideal choice to lead Jasmax. We have confidence in his ability to guide the company towards future accomplishments.”

In accepting this appointment, Glubb will transition from his role as Head of Design to focus on expanding Jasmax’s international presence and positioning the broader business for future growth.

“I am aware of the challenges facing the construction sector and the responsibility of design firms to advance resilient, low-carbon solutions,” says Glubb. “I look forward to leading Jasmax as we confront these challenges and continue to advocate for a more sustainable future for our cities.”
