McCloud is best known as charismatic TV presenter of BAFTA award-winning show Grand Designs, but the Englishman is also a designer, author, and environmentalist (awarded an MBE in 2024 for services to sustainable design and energy-saving property refurbishment).

His upcoming show, titled ‘Kevin McCloud’s Home Truths,’ promises outbursts of laughter with tales from McCloud’s illustrious television career, hilarious anecdotes and a no-holds-barred Q&A session where fans will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to the iconic host of Grand Designs.

The show is your chance to ask him what he really thought about those houses from each season of Grand Designs, and to gain insight into the learnings from his personal projects — the record-breaking Happinesss Architecture Beauty (HAB) property development business now at risk of insolvency (its investor losses documented by The Guardian in 2019), and more recently, his ‘do-up’ of a 400-year-old house near the Welsh border.
