This year marks Décortech’s fifth year of partnership with the Interior Awards, having joined us as a sponsor in 2017. We asked the team to share with us some of their favourite interiors, as well as some thoughts about the Awards programme.

Natalie, tell us what you have enjoyed most about being a sponsor of the Interior Awards?

Natalie: The Interior Awards are naturally exciting and generate a buzz in the office every year, especially in the days leading up to the Sponsors photoshoot and before the evening’s celebrations. It is immensely enjoyable to be a part of an event that acknowledges and honours the achievements of passionate and hardworking individuals and gives inspiration for others to follow their example.

Vickie, tell us about one of the previous winners of the Interior Awards that resonated with you and why?

Vickie: Hospitality Winner Hotel Britomart, by Cheshire Architects. The use of natural light, textures and materials featured throughout The Hotel Britomart engage your senses – it draws you in and becomes an experience from the moment you arrive. No detail was overlooked, no stone unturned. Simply stunning!

Ross, is there a favourite hospitality spot, either here or overseas, that you always recommend?

Ross: When it comes to hospitality, Hallertau Brewery and Biergarten ticks a lot of boxes for me. Fresh craft beer, an exciting menu with dishes that can be paired with the impressive range of beers on tap, a focus on sourcing local ingredients for both beer and food, and a family-friendly environment, as well as being close to home so the time and money saved on an Uber means one more round!

Décortech is the market leader in decorative, acoustic and fire-retardant wall and ceiling panels. The company works closely with both architects and specifiers to ensure the design vision for the project becomes a reality, without compromises.

Décortech’s large range of substrates, veneers, and finishes, combined with standard or fully customised perforations, provides the complete solution to create truly inspirational interiors.
