A panel of judges comprising some of the design industry’s leading talent are soon to begin the search for New Zealand’s most outstanding bespoke commercial spaces, interior craftsmanship and innovators from within the industry for the 2018 Interior Awards programme.

“This year we have been joined, once again, by an incredible group of sponsors who understand the value of such a significant and unique awards programme and the design it celebrates,” says Federico Monsalve, editor of Interior magazine and convener of the awards for the fifth year running.

“Myself and the very strong troupe of design professionals that forms the jury panel are looking forward to stepping into the projects that are defining the fabric of our cities and towns across the country,” he concludes.

Many of this year’s sponsors have been supporting the programme since the inception of the awards in 2011, and all have returned after being involved with last year’s awards. Composed of a diverse range of industry-leading businesses, they each recognise the importance of shining a spotlight on excellence within our industry.

The 2018 award categories are: Retail, Hospitality, Workplace (up to 1,000m²) and Workplace (over 1,000m²), Civic, Installation, Emerging Design Professional, Craftsmanship and Student.
