Air New Zealand’s new lounge in Los Angeles might be the most stylish airport lounge ever created.

Gensler’s David Loyola fitted out the 1,675m² space (which has two VIP rooms) with furniture by Saarinen and Starck and photographs of LA by Peter Lik. Best of all, there’s a large rooftop terrace, so travellers can breathe some fresh air (and see a view of downtown LA) before they depart.

To find out more about Air New Zealand’s Los Angeles airport lounge, keep an eye out for Urbis August/September Issue 81.
