Ottmar Hoerl ‘Non-Conformist’ Gnome. Available in eight different colours

If garden gnomes could choose their own gesture, then this might well be it.

Available in an array of colours from Design55, the ‘Non-Conformist’ gnome is designed by Ottmar Hörl, a noted and controversial German artist, art professor, writer and current president of the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg. The original ‘Sponti’ gnome was created by Hörl in 1994 for an installation of 1000 blue garden gnomes spread across the city of Seligenstadt.

Urbis has one Ottmar Hörl Gnome to give away in red. Email urbiscomps@agm.co.nz with your name and contact details to go into the draw. Competition closes on 8 December, 2011.
