The initial concept for Urbis Designday® originated from the ‘outdoor room’ idea for Urbis Landscapes magazine, a brand extension of Urbis which is no longer published.

Participating designers were let loose in some of the most design-aware stores in Auckland. The brief was to rejuvenate verandas, balconies and backyards, using the coolest furniture available.
